Chevilly-Larue Hospital, Gustave Roussy’s second campus

On 1st January 2015, the Chevilly-Larue Hospital Centre specialising in Respiratory Diseases (CHSP) merged with Gustave Roussy and became Chevilly-Larue Hospital, Gustave Roussy’s second campus.

This hospital has 50 short-stay medical beds and 50 beds for continuing care and rehabilitation (SSR). There are also five Day Hospital places. Its Oncology Department now has some thirty beds and its Respiratory Diseases Department is partly specialised in oncology. The respiratory diseases work is managed by three chest physicians covering both acute and longer term care.

Patient management at the Chevilly-Larue Hospital

The Gustave Roussy teams at Villejuif and on the Chevilly-Larue campus work closely together.
Medical notes are transferred to ensure the continuity of care and there is no change in the consultant in charge. The Gustave Roussy specialist doctors and care staff also work at Chevilly-Larue.
An introductory booklet is given to patients on arrival.

After an admission at Chevilly-Larue, patients may:

  • return home
  • be sent to a continuing care centre if necessary
  • possibly go back to Gustave Roussy for a specific test.
