Doctor Christelle Dufour

Christelle DufourA paediatric oncologist, Dr Christelle Dufour has been Head of the Department of Child and Adolescent Oncology at Gustave Roussy since April 2021.

Expert in brain tumours in children and adolescents, she focuses her research on embryonal tumours such as medulloblastoma, ATRT, and ETMR. She co-coordinates several national and international clinical trials on these pathologies, with her work notably supported by the Translational Cancer Research Programme (PRT-K).

She is also interested in the long-term outcomes of young patients, with a particular focus on the neurocognitive impact of tumours and their treatments.

Dr Dufour also coordinates the Interregional Hospital Organisation for Île-de-France – Indian Ocean (POIR CANPEDIF-OI) in paediatric oncology.

An active member of the French Society for Childhood Cancers (SFCE) and the European Society for Paediatric Oncology Brain Tumour Group (SIOP-BT), she contributes significantly to the national and international reputation of paediatric cancer research.
