Launched in France at the initiative of Gustave Roussy, September Gold, the awareness month dedicated to childhood and adolescent cancers, celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, Goûter en Or 2026, the flagship event of the campaign, will take place in numerous cities across France. In Paris, the Jardin d’Acclimatation will host the Grand Goûter en Or for the second consecutive year on Sunday, September 13, 2026, featuring a special musical performance by Skip the Use and the presence of Pierre de Maere, ambassador of Gustave Roussy. Solidarity tickets valid from September 13 through December 31, 2026, are available for purchase
For the past ten years, every September has been an opportunity for children and adults alike to rally in support of pediatric cancer research and help provide new treatment options and hope for young patients and their families. This year, the Grand Goûter en Or, organized by Gustave Roussy with the support of the Jardin d’Acclimatation, will offer a full day of festive activities from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2026.
Families will be able to enjoy a day of solidarity and entertainment, including wooden games, face painting, balloon sculpting, magic shows and stilt walkers. The Vaillante Show & Marching Band will energize the event with three performances throughout the day, while Pierre de Maere will join attendees in support of the cause. The day will also feature an exceptional live performance by Skip the Use at 4:30 p.m. In addition, 1,000 free solidarity snacks will be distributed to children at 4 p.m.
Across France, the campaign extends well beyond Paris through a network of local partners, including municipalities, childhood support associations and local businesses. Together, they organize solidarity events close to families, such as community snack gatherings, fun walks, cooking workshops, cinema screenings and charity lottery events.

An Essential Mobilization to Advance Research
Each year in France, approximately 2,300 children and adolescents are diagnosed with cancer. Thanks to major advances in research, the five-year survival rate now exceeds 80–85%. However, for young patients who still do not benefit from sufficiently effective treatments, the fight continues.
As the leading comprehensive cancer center in France and Europe, Gustave Roussy plays a major role in pediatric oncology research. Its researchers work to develop new therapies, improve understanding of childhood tumors and deliver innovative treatment options, particularly for cancers that remain difficult to cure.
By supporting Goûter en Or, participants contribute directly to funding research programmes dedicated to improving outcomes and developing new therapeutic solutions for children and adolescents affected by cancer.
To support pediatric cancer research, donations can be made through the dedicated fundraising platform : https://guerirlecancer.gustaveroussy.fr/septembre-en-or/
