From the banks of the Garonne to the iconic streets of the capital of the Gironde region, the AG2R La Mondiale Bordeaux Half Marathon and Marathon have established themselves as one of the major running events in France. On November 8, 2026, Gustave Roussy invites runners to add a charitable dimension to their athletic challenge by joining the “racemars” program. The reward: a race bib for the half marathon by raising at least €150 in donations, or for the marathon by raising at least €300 for cancer research. Every kilometer run and every donation collected helps support innovations that benefit patients throughout France.

Because the fight against cancer extends far beyond Paris, this initiative allows everyone to get involved locally in a cause that affects us all, while taking part in one of the most welcoming races on the national calendar.

In Bordeaux, as everywhere else in France, every step can advance research.
