The Recruitment Process
Our 5-step recruitment process.
As soon as we receive your resume, our HR team will carefully review your background and skills to assess how well they match the position we are offering.
If your profile matches our needs, an HR representative will contact you to schedule an initial phone interview. This conversation will help us better understand your career goals and motivations, and prepare for the next steps in the hiring process.
You’ll meet with an HR representative and your future manager. These interviews are an opportunity to discuss your responsibilities, your work environment, and the values that drive our teams, while also getting answers to all your questions.
Once the recruitment process is complete, we will notify you of our decision as soon as possible.
If you join Gustave Roussy, you’ll receive personalized support from the moment you arrive to help you get started in your new role and integrate into our teams.
If not today, then maybe tomorrow: if none of the current openings match your career goals, we encourage you to check our career opportunities regularly. New positions are posted throughout the year.
HR Policy
At Gustave Roussy, we place every employee at the heart of our mission. Our HR policy is built around five fundamental pillars: equality, quality of life at work, inclusion, skills development, and environmental responsibility.
We guarantee strict equal treatment at every stage of one’s professional life. This strong commitment is reflected in our recruitment processes, our compensation policies, and our approach to training and career development. Our goal? To ensure complete fairness, based on transparency and respect for everyone’s skills.
Because your well-being is essential, we implement concrete measures every day to support and care for our teams:
- Well-being at work: Enjoy access to osteopathy, shiatsu, and sophrology sessions, as well as our dedicated relaxation area (“Le Nuage”).
- Work-life balance: We make your daily life easier with a staff daycare center, a concierge service, a company restaurant, and personalized support from a social worker.
Committed to respecting your personal life, we conduct group awareness campaigns, particularly regarding the right to disconnect.
Finally, our Occupational Health and Safety Department—a multidisciplinary team comprising doctors, nurses, an occupational psychologist, an administrative assistant, and a risk prevention specialist (IPRP)—actively works to ensure the continuous improvement of your working conditions.
As Europe’s first Cancer Center (CLCC), Gustave Roussy embodies a threefold national mission: treating patients, conducting research, and providing training. This unique interdisciplinary approach ensures that our teams continuously develop their skills, which directly contributes to the quality of care.
In keeping with this philosophy, training is a cornerstone of our institution. It enables us to integrate the latest knowledge into your daily practice and offer patients the most innovative treatments.
Beyond internal mobility, we work with you to shape your career path by offering tailored training programs (in-house courses, conferences, etc.) as well as active support for degree programs and career advancement opportunities.
We have a policy of zero tolerance and active prevention regarding gender-based and sexual violence. To this end, we are implementing awareness-raising initiatives, specialized training, support and reporting mechanisms, as well as strictly confidential counseling services.
Our top priority is to ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful work environment for everyone.
We promote the hiring, onboarding, and retention of employees with disabilities. A dedicated team (comprising the disability coordinator and the occupational health service) provides you with personalized support and ensures that your workstation is adapted to your specific needs.
We encourage and support every employee in adopting more sustainable modes of transportation:
- Sustainable Mobility Allowance: Receive a reimbursement of up to €300 per year if you commute to work by scooter or bicycle (with or without electric assistance).
- A premium bike rack: located in the parking lot near the main building, this secure area (access via badge) features lockers with electrical outlets to charge your e-bike batteries, as well as a station for inflating tires and making minor repairs.
