Data Division

The Gustave Roussy Data Center leverages health data in oncology and supports the Institute’s digital transformation. It ensures the quality, interoperability, traceability, and responsible use of data generated through patient care and research. Its activities are organized around three missions: 

• Mission 1: Health Data Warehouse (EDS) — Design and maintain a Health Data Warehouse (EDS) that centralizes longitudinal patient data: clinical data, imaging, laboratory tests, multi-omic data (sequencing, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics), clinical trials, and translational projects. 
• Mission 2: Bioinformatics Pipelines — Develop robust, reproducible, and versioned pipelines for the analysis of molecular data, in accordance with the FAIR principles (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) and best practices for automation, containerization, and traceability. 
• Mission 3: Scientific Support — Assist research teams in analyzing and interpreting results, integrating clinical and multi-omics data, and formulating biological hypotheses. 

The Data Hub’s objective is to accelerate exploratory, translational, and clinical research, promote the secondary reuse of data, and strengthen collaborations among clinicians, researchers, and bioinformaticians/data scientists.
