Meta-analyses

The team’s primary activity is conducting meta-analyses of randomized trials using up-to-date individual-patient data, in collaboration with investigators from around the world, to evaluate the efficacy and, where possible, the side effects of treatments. The databases created in this way are also used, whenever possible, to validate surrogate endpoints, assess the prognostic and predictive role of biomarkers, conduct methodological studies, and perform network meta-analyses.
