Abstract
The platform integrates advanced technologies in automated cell biology and high-content discovery to study the molecular mechanisms of cellular stress, regulated cell death, and immunogenic cell death. The infrastructure combines robotic sample handling, automated microscopy, multiplexed fluorescence imaging, and computational analysis pipelines to perform high-throughput phenotypic screening. A dedicated team of engineers and scientists ensures the optimization of automated workflows and data analysis environments.
The platform enables the systematic characterization of cellular stress responses induced by pharmacological agents, genetic perturbations, or environmental stimuli, with a particular focus on endoplasmic reticulum stress, oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and autophagy. Live-cell imaging combined with multiparametric analyses enables dynamic monitoring of stress responses and the expression of danger signals.
The CCHD platform plays a central role in the study of immunogenic cell death and in the identification of inducers capable of stimulating antitumor immunity. Co-culture assays and artificial intelligence-assisted analyses complement these approaches for mechanistic and translational studies in oncology.
Finally, the platform provides scalable computational pipelines for image processing, feature extraction, and AI-assisted integrative data analysis, enabling the generation of robust and reproducible multidimensional datasets for translational cancer research.
Services Offered
The technologies and applications developed at the laboratory are available for collaborative research, following a discussion with the laboratory’s multidisciplinary steering committee regarding the financial, scientific, and technical feasibility of such research.
