Innovating for Better Care: Three Flagship Research Programs:
Understanding the mechanisms underlying the development of chronic leukemias by studying diseased cells present in the blood and identifying pre-leukemic conditions that can be treated with therapies targeting the very origin of the disease rather than its symptoms.
Identifying new precision therapies for lymphomas and leukemias using genomics and diagnostic tests that target the genetic abnormalities responsible for the onset of cancer.
Prevent the onset of leukemias triggered by the side effects of cancer treatments by treating the primary cancer differently and identifying patients at risk of developing leukemias induced by treatments for a primary cancer, in order to offer new therapeutic options.
