Gynecologic Oncology Committee
The committee brings together medical oncologists, surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and gynecologists to provide coordinated care for gynecologic cancers. Cases are discussed in a multidisciplinary setting to determine a treatment strategy tailored to the type of tumor, its extent, and each patient’s individual circumstances.

Gustave Roussy is a national center of expertise for rare gynecological and ovarian malignancies.
The Institute participates in the RePPS and NetSarc specialized networks for the diagnosis and treatment of sarcomas.
The committee has expertise in fertility preservation and in the management of gynecologic cancers during pregnancy.

Research on Gynecological Tumors
Clinical care is closely linked to research. Professor Alexandra Leary heads the Translational Research Laboratory for Gynecologic Tumors. The committee’s physicians also contribute to clinical trials focused on gynecologic cancers, rare ovarian tumors, and uterine sarcomas.
