Unveiled on December 4, Le Point magazine’s ranking of the best hospitals and clinics confirms Gustave Roussy’s expertise and excellence in cancer care on a national scale. The Institute is listed in a total of 16 areas of expertise related to oncology and ranks among the top 10 in 11 of those categories.

Gustave Roussy ranks:

  • 1st place in the treatment of ENT cancers.
  • 2nd place in breast cancer surgery.
  • 2nd place in ovarian cancer surgery.
  • 2nd place in the treatment of brain tumors in children and adolescents.
  • 3rd place in the treatment of bone cancers in children and adolescents.
  • 4th place in soft tissue sarcoma surgery.
  • 5th place in uterine cancer surgery.
  • 5th place in surgery for stomach or esophageal cancers.

The Institute also stands out for its treatment of hematologic cancers in adults, skin cancers, and thyroid cancers.

Regarding ovarian cancers, Gustave Roussy moved up five spots compared to the previous ranking.

This ranking is largely based on data from the National Health Data System. Innovative medical procedures not included in the database are not listed, and specialties evaluated solely on the basis of surgical activity exclude centers that focus primarily on medical treatments such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiation therapy.
