AMMICa platforms provide cutting-edge expertise and technologies to academic and industrial teams. They offer accessible and collaborative services, with proven procedures that can be tailored to the specific needs of individual projects, and they contribute to innovation and project structuring in order to generate robust data with high translational value.

Abstract

Brought together within the AMMICa unit—Molecular Analysis, Modeling, and Imaging of Cancer (Inserm US 23, Université Paris-Saclay), Gustave Roussy’s research platforms provide a range of innovative resources and technologies in oncology. The range of services is structured around three complementary areas: Resources and Models, Technology Platforms, and Translational Platforms, enabling support for projects from preclinical modeling through to the analysis of primary patient samples.

Open to the entire scientific and medical community—both public and private—these platforms support scientific excellence, from basic research through to clinical applications. They are fully integrated into the Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster (PSCC) ecosystem, fostering academic and industrial synergies.

The AMMICa platforms play a strategic role at the intersection of research and patient care. They support the majority of projects conducted at Gustave Roussy and contribute to the site’s translational momentum. The dual expertise of several platform directors, who are involved in both research and hospital care, ensures alignment between clinical needs and technological developments.
AMMICa offers a wide range of cutting-edge technologies: generation and characterization of organoid models, high-throughput functional screening and CRISPR-Cas9, in situ transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic analyses, and single-cell multi-omic approaches.

The platforms are continuously developing new expertise to address emerging scientific and medical challenges.
