Professor Bernard Do
Professor Bernard Do, a hospital pharmacist and full professor at Université Paris-Saclay, has been Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at Gustave Roussy since 2024. He leads clinical pharmacy operations and the development of investigational drugs used in institutional clinical trials.
A specialist in hospital-based pharmaceutical development, he designs innovative medicines and therapeutic strategies for personalized cancer care.
At Gustave Roussy, he conducts translational research focused on clinical formulation development and regulatory preparation of investigational drug dossiers (IMPDs). In parallel, his academic research is carried out at the Institute of Molecular Sciences of Orsay (ISMO – CNRS, Université Paris-Saclay), within the Nanomedicine and Biophotonics team, where he explores drug stability, therapeutic nanomaterials, and advanced delivery systems.
Author of over 100 peer-reviewed publications and co-inventor of several patents, he operates at the interface of clinical innovation and academic research.
