Listening and dialogue
Concerned about the well-being of patients and the quality of care, Gustave Roussy provides its patients with areas for listening and dialogue organised around medical mediation.
Since 2017, Dr Bernard Escudier has held the position of medical mediator.
His role is to establish a dialogue with the patient or relatives by providing them with a listening ear, answers and solutions.
If necessary, meetings can be arranged with the medical mediator. These scheduled meetings with users take place in Dr Bernard Escudier's office, on the Gustave Roussy General Management level.
One of the mediator's roles is to inform management and the people in the departments concerned so that the problems identified can be taken into account. The well-being of our patients will always be at the heart of the measures put in place.
