PEP-Therapy, Institut Curie and Gustave Roussy obtain 2,9 M€ to develop a novel peptide in oncology

PEP-Therapy, Institut Curie and Gustave Roussy join together to conduct the Clever-Peptide project.

It aims at the development of an innovative anti-cancer peptide, firstly for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer, and its companion biomarker, predictive of treatment efficacy. Approved by the Medicen Paris Region cluster, this collaborative project obtains 2,9 M€ funding.

L’immunothérapie diminue aussi le risque de rechute du mélanome

Le Pr Alexander Eggermont, directeur général de Gustave Roussy, a présenté hier en séance plénière du congrès de l’AACR (American Association for Cancer Research) les résultats d’une grande étude clinique internationale. Cette étude démontre que le pembrolizumab, une immunothérapie anti-PD1, diminue de 43% le risque de rechute de patients atteints d’un mélanome de stade 3 à haut risque de récidive après la chirurgie.

Aujourd'hui, cette médecine de précision est proposée uniquement dans le cadre d'essais cliniques pour des patients en échec de multiples traitements. Demain, nous voulons que tous les malades puissent bénéficier d'emblée du traitement le plus efficace.

Gustave Roussy and Protagen AG collaborate to improve the risk profiling of cancer patients undergoing immunotherapy

Protagen AG and Gustave Roussy have today announced the start of a collaboration to utilize Protagen’s SeroTag® technology to help identify biomarkers that predict and monitor immune-related adverse events (irAEs) in cancer patients treated with checkpoint inhibitors.
