Research at Gustave Roussy meets society's needs related to cancer. It is integrated into care because it is in the context of care that the data on which the research is based are collected from patients, and it is for the care of patients that the results of the research are used.

Transforming radiotherapy: toward precision medicine

Unit U1355/RAMO-IT (formerly “U1030”) develops an integrated research program aimed at profoundly transforming the use of radiotherapy in oncology. Historically based on standardized approaches, radiotherapy now faces major limitations related to the biological heterogeneity of tumors, variability in patient responses, and the occurrence of sometimes debilitating toxicities.

The Centre for Research in Epidemiology and Population Health (CESP) is one of the largest French centres for training and research in Public Health.   

It is linked to Inserm, the Paris-Saclay University and the University of Versailles Saint Quentin.
